During the BC liquor policy review, more than 10,000 citizens blogged, tweeted and emailed their thoughts on modernizing BC’s liquor laws. At this session the Parliamentary Secretary for Liquor Reform, John Yap and Tanya Twynstra, Director of Citizen Engagement for the BC Government will together talk about how and why they created an integrated approach, using a variety of tools, to gather input and then take action. This session will be an onstage interview/discussion format between the two presenters so to balance the perspectives of the political leadership and the behind the scenes implementation team.
